Energy update

Being a vacuum heat treater Pontus uses a large amount of energy in its processes. To reduce the energy consumption we started a program to reduce energy consumption and use renewable energy in our production process.

In the beginning of April 2022 we started together with E-kwadraat an energy pinch to map out our energy usage and heat flows in our process. This marks the start of our plan to reuse the thermal energy that is released in our production process. This investigation has been sponsored by the Provincie Overijssel.

In 2021 we started a long term program to reduce our energy footprint.
